According to the information received, jewelery shopkeeper Jaiprakash Shah, like every day, had closed his shop on Wednesday night and gone home. Meanwhile, an incident of theft was carried out at night. In the morning, when shopkeeper Jaiprakash Shah arrived to open the shop, the lock of the shutter was broken. It was told that all the items including the lock were stolen. At present, the items kept in the shop are being assessed. According to the shopkeeper, gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 20 lakh has been stolen.
A constable was sent to investigate on the spot
The special thing is that when the police was informed about the said incident, only one police constable was sent to the spot. Local villagers allege that despite being informed about the theft incident, the police did not reach the spot. After this, hundreds of local people reached the police station. After reaching the police station, everyone created more ruckus. After this, a constable was sent to the spot by the station in-charge. At present, the theft incident is being investigated. At the same time, there is anger among the local people towards the police.
